What a build includes
A compliance review record
If your College or your insurer asks what you checked and when, the answer is a document, not a memory.
In short
A dated record of which standard was checked, at which version, and what changed.
Every page is reviewed against the advertising standard that applies to your profession and province, the federal rules on prescription drug advertising, privacy law, and the accessibility standard. What we record is the specific thing: which standard, at which version, on which date, what was found, and what changed as a result.
Under Care the review is repeated quarterly against the current version of each standard, because regulators reorganize and standards are rewritten. The record is yours, and you can hand it to anyone who asks.
What you get
- A dated record naming the standard and the version reviewed
- What was found, and what was changed in response
- A quarterly re review against the current standard under Care
- The regulator for your profession and province confirmed at each review
- A record written to be read by someone who is not a web developer
What it does not do
- We do not state that a site is compliant. We state what was reviewed and against which standard.
- It is not legal advice, and we are not your counsel.
- A review is a point in time. What you publish after it is outside the record until the next one.
Where it sits. Reviewed at launch in Build, then quarterly under Care. See the three build tiers.
