About

We run our own practices on what we build

You should not have to teach your web agency what a compounding lab is, or proofread your own website for licence risk. We are clinicians who build health care websites, and we run our own practices on them.

Why this exists

Built for our own group first

Every general agency we spoke to would have learned our business on our invoice: what a compounding lab is, what a College advertising standard says about testimonials, what Health Canada allows a pharmacy to say about a prescription drug. So we built the platforms ourselves and ran them until the system worked. Monograph is that system, offered to other practices.

Three things, sold together: a website built to a clinical standard, ongoing maintenance, and a search program that is executed every month rather than planned once. Every client owns their domain, code, content, and accounts from day one.

Monograph shares its founders with PharmacyBroker.ca, a pharmacy brokerage. They are separate companies with separate team time. The brokerage never contacts a Monograph client about a sale unless the client asks. We say this openly because it is a strength: a pharmacy preparing for sale often needs its digital presence fixed first, and we understand both sides.

The Monograph Standard

Twelve commitments you can hold us to

  1. Every page is written or reviewed by a licensed clinician in your profession.
  2. Every claim is checked against your College's current advertising standard, and we keep a dated record.
  3. We never advertise a prescription drug beyond what Health Canada permits.
  4. Personal health information never travels by plain email through anything we build.
  5. You own your domain, your content, your code, and your accounts, from day one.
  6. Your staff can change your hours, notices, and services themselves, without us.
  7. Your site meets WCAG 2.1 AA at launch and we re check it every quarter.
  8. Your site loads in under two seconds on a phone.
  9. Your monthly report shows enquiries by source, including AI assistants, not pageviews.
  10. A clinician answers your email within two business days, and a critical outage within four business hours.
  11. We tell you when something is not worth building.
  12. If we ever fall short of these, you can leave with everything, any month, with a documented handover.

Start with a call, or a free review of your current site

Send us your website address and we will return a ten point review within two business days, free. Most practice sites fail on three of the ten. If yours passes, we will say so.
