What we need before the clock starts
Day five is counted from the business day after everything below is in. Send it in any form: a reply to our email, photos of a sign, a spreadsheet. We tidy it; you do not.
Why it matters. The clock starts on the business day after the intake is complete. If day five is missed for a reason on our side, Care is free for three more months, on top of the three free months every build already includes. What is live on day five.
The practice
- Registered practice name exactly as your College lists it, and the licence or accreditation number
- Profession and province, which decides the College standard that applies
- Street address, phone, fax if patients use it, and the hours for every day, including days closed
- The services you offer, as a list, and anything you offer that must not be advertised (we will ask on the call too)
- Staff names and titles as your College permits them to be shown, and who at the practice approves content
Access
- Your domain: where it is registered, and a login or a delegate invitation so we can point it to the new site
- Google Business Profile: an invitation as a manager, or confirmation that none exists and we should claim it
- Any existing analytics or Search Console, as a user, or confirmation that none exists
- The email address at the practice that should receive refill, transfer and contact requests, and whether a system (pharmacy software, EMR) should receive them instead
Content
- Your logo as a file, or the name of your sign company; if you have neither, a photo of the sign
- Six to twelve photographs of the premises and the team, taken on a phone is fine; no patients in frame
- Your current website address if you have one, and whether it should redirect
- Which forms you want on day five: refill, transfer, contact, and anything else from the Build page
- Your second language, if any, and who checks translations

Missing something? Missing items pause the clock, not the work. We start as soon as the agreement is signed and tell you which items are open.
Questions about the intake
What if we do not have a logo or photographs yet?
Day five still happens. The site launches with your name set in type and no photographs, and the logo and photographs are added when they arrive, or a brand kit and a shoot are arranged under the build.
We do not know where our domain is registered.
Tell us the domain and we will look up the registrar and tell you where to log in. If the domain is held by a previous web company, we tell you what to ask them for, and the guide on changing providers covers the rest.
Who counts the five days?
We do, in writing. When the last item arrives we confirm the date by email, and day five is five business days after it. Days lost to a missing item, a third party verification or an approval on your side are listed in the same email and do not count.
